- To promote increased awareness of the issues surrounding sexual violence and the situation of women and girls who have been raped or sexually assaulted/abused, to the general public.
- To raise awareness within specialised fields who work with or provide services for women and girls, for example health, education and social work services.
Financial support
LRCC would like to say that financial support is crucial to the sustainability of the resources we provide, and we continue to work very hard at securing enough funds to sustain and develop our service provision.
We would like to acknowledge existing and previous financial support provided by the Scottish Government, North Lanarkshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, The LankellyChase Foundation, The VOLANT Charitable Trust, The Scottish Community Foundation, The Allen Lane Foundation and the many individuals who have raised funds and made donations as well as local businesses who provided donations for fundraising activities, to help LRCC deliver its services to the women of Lanarkshire. Many thanks.
